Description
Conch with greatest height and width at adoral end of phragmocone, contracting to aperture, peristome straight, transverse, with hyponomic sinus. Siphuncle ventral, cyrtochoanitic, segments subquadrate in longitudinal section, usually scalariform in outline, thin annulosiphonate rings in septal foramen produce distinctive irregular linear processes extending adapically and adorally, but not forming rays continuous from segment to segment
